Monthly Musing: August

Assalamualaikum everyone!

I am writing while on the train on the way to work. I can see the heavy rain through the MRT windows and I can’t help but feel extremely grateful for the weather today.

It is just nice to have a cool and relaxing weather after a tiring week. Do you agree? It makes me look at my week with fresh eyes and a new perspective.

Truthfully, my days are getting busier with PSLE and O levels around the corner. And being the crazy person I am, I added on more booths to my schedule until the end of the year. I actually felt so tired just looking at my schedule. 

But with PSLE a little over a month away, O levels 2 months away and only 5 booths left, I actually feel like it is not too bad. Though the body is aching and sore like I been battered and bruised, I am enjoying the whole process. I get to meet old and new business friends, engage with customers and share about my businesses. I am happy that I have income through tuition and have students that still want me to be their teacher. I still have time for family and friends and it makes me appreciate my time with them even more because let’s face it. They are busy with their lives too. 

Whenever I feel down on myself, I remember why I do this and the beauty in everything I do. Alhamdulillah for a busy life!
