SBTP: A poem from Life Journey

This month we will be sharing a poem from Life Journey - Write

and the story behind it.

One of the first few poems I wrote for our very first poetry book, Life Journey.

Before I started this poem, I wanted it to be in a form of a letter. Yet, a letter to who?

I knew I wanted to make it hopeful and I want it to give whoever reading this poem a little love, a little courage, a little strength and a little comfort. I may not know their circumstances or what made them feel that they had to give up. But I imagined that they tried everything and they don.t need me to give them advice or solutions. They just need support and encouragement that whatever they are doing is always a step closer to their happiness.

So this poem is a letter to whoever needs this.

To you, you are my love, you are my true happiness and you are my sense of purpose.
