Poem/Prose Prompt: Once is Enough

Once is enough

You laughed and said no way. 

If there was a chance, I will definitely do it again.

I just smiled.

I know you wouldn’t believe me when I said that being married to you has been a beautiful thing for me. You are the sun of my sky. You are the light of my moon. If we ever should part, I accepted that I have gotten all the love I need from you.

Being married once is enough for me. I am thankful that once is with you.
