You were not supposed to grow older.

I was.

You were supposed to remain the same way you were when I was a kid.

When did you grow older, as you were raising me?

Mum, I am sorry that I was so focused on growing up that I didn’t realised that you were too. Now, it’s my time to repay you back. I need to show how much I appreciate you. For raising me. For teaching me. For loving me despite me being such a difficult human. No matter what I do, it will never come close to what you did for me.

Thank you, Mum. I love you forever!
