This post came at a perfect time. It is December and goals are always being made before the year ends and a new one starts. It is also the time of the year where I will indulge too much and have regrets later on.
I will stick with 2 goals for the next 30 days. I don't want to be overconfident.
Less sugar
I am trying to lose weight. A constant battle that I am losing very, very badly. My weakness are chocolates and tea. How can these two things be the reasons that I can't lose weight? Well, you have to factor in my age, my movements, my diet, my exercise regime if any, my health issues. Once you have done that, chocolate and tea can pretty much wreck havoc on my body. So for the next 30 days, I need to wean myself of sugar. Bit by bit until I can control my weight. A girl gotta do what a girl gotta do.
Maintain a schedule for house chores
Now that I am in a new place. I really need to maintain the way I clean my house. I need to schedule my cleaning and cooking properly. Which is something I really hate. I do hate house chores and I will avoid them if I can. Unfortunately, I am the adult here in my own house. I have to clean them if I don.t want unwanted visitors like cockroaches and ants coming in. So I am to be on the ball with my chores. As long as I maintain, there is less to clean each time.
Okay, I add one more because I realised the urgency of this.
Plan my 2022 schedule
A rough draft of the schedule for 2022. I have a few things on my plate right now which I really need to sort out. The projects and the timeline. I didn't do any planning for the year 2021 because Covid. There wasn't much that could be planned in advance in that air of uncertainty. Things are not better now but I have more or less adjusted to this life so I can plan the things which will not really be affected much should there be any major changes by Covid.
Writing down goals makes me even more determined to achieve them. This feeling will last for the next 3 days and go ka-put. I will have to give it my all in order to achieve what I set out to do. Insha Allah.
